Welcome to Lingonook (https://lingonook.com), a language learning service operated by Manyfold Labs GmbH ("Manyfold Labs", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of Lingonook, including the website, lessons, stories, vocabulary practice, audio, PDFs, and related account features.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Lingonook, creating an account, downloading a lesson PDF, or purchasing a language pack, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Please provide accurate account information and contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

4. Purchases and Access

Lingonook may sell language packs, all-language access, or similar digital products. Prices, included languages, and access terms are shown at checkout or on the pricing page. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers such as Lemon Squeezy or Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details.

If you need help with a purchase, refund request, duplicate charge, or access issue, contact us at manyfoldlabs@gmail.com. Any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you remain unaffected.

5. License to Use Lingonook Content

Lingonook and its licensors own the intellectual property rights in the website, lessons, stories, audio, images, vocabulary materials, exercises, PDFs, software, and related content. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Lingonook for your own language learning.

You may not copy, resell, redistribute, publicly display, scrape, train models on, or create derivative products from Lingonook content unless we have expressly allowed it in writing.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Lingonook, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, bypass payment or access controls, reverse engineer the platform, upload harmful code, or use the service in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.

7. Educational Nature of the Service

Lingonook is designed to support language learning through reading, listening, vocabulary, and practice. We do not guarantee a specific learning outcome, exam result, certification, or level of fluency.

8. Third-Party Services

Lingonook relies on third-party services for hosting, authentication, payment processing, email, analytics, support, and media delivery. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy notices.

9. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep Lingonook reliable, but we do not guarantee that every feature or item of content will always be available. We may improve, modify, pause, or discontinue parts of the service, including individual lessons or features, when needed.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these terms, misuse the service, or create risk for Lingonook, other users, or third-party providers. You may stop using Lingonook at any time.

11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lingonook is provided without warranties beyond those required by applicable law. Manyfold Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability where such limitation is not permitted by law, including liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, or mandatory consumer rights.

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. If you are a consumer, mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence may still apply.
